The VTE Bhakti-sastri Course has been designed to enable devotees to complete a major portion of the study on their own before coming to participate in classes on the MIHET campus in Sridhama Mayapur. Students can then begin preparing for the course by learning slokas and answering the homework questions. All of the Bhakti-sastri facilitators agree that getting an early start on their studies will enable students to get the most out of the course.

Read each Chapter of the Srimad-Bhagavatam and answer the preliminary study questions. These questions will be used to form closed book tests at the end of each Unit during the classes. Some of the analogies listed will also appear on the closed book tests at the end of each Unit.
Prabhupada lecture quotes have been drawn from Srila Prabhupada's lectures on Srimad-Bhagavatam and can be read along with the Srimad-Bhagavatam texts. These quotes will also be discussed in class.
